Power

“Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

No man is worthy or can be trusted with power. There is no man so noble he can be trusted with dictatorial power. Never has been.

Power is never created. Power is only transferred.

If you have the power to decide where you are going to work, then the Government doesn’t have the power to decide where you are going to work. If the Government has the power to decide where you are going to work, then you do not have the power to decide where you are going to work.

When you have the power it is a Liberty.

When the Government has the power it is a lost Liberty.

Every increase of power of Government is a decrease of Liberty of the individual. When the Government has all power then the individuals have no Liberty. The power of Government is therefore inversely proportional to the Liberty of the individuals.

All you have to do to lose Liberty is ask Government to increase its power. When you ask Government to increase its power you become its Slave.

The enemy of Liberty is always Government.

He who governs best governs least.

When you look to Government for solutions to problems you must give to Government the power to rule you. When you look to Government for your subsistence it becomes your Master and you its Slave.

The entire goal to maintaining Liberty is to keep Government contained and make it a Servant not your Master.

Governments are not to supply individuals with their needs. Governments are to protect the Right of the individual to earn his own needs.
